FarmFleet is going to share expertise at NABEC in the USA: precision agriculture and digitalization

The global trend toward precision agriculture is transforming traditional approaches to agribusiness. In countries with developed agricultural industries, such technologies are becoming the gold standard, enabling high results with lower costs. Meanwhile, in developing countries, precision agriculture enhances food security and economic development, opening new opportunities for farmers of all scales. By providing drone-based agricultural services and implementing practices proven effective in real-world field conditions, FarmFleet will participate in the North Atlantic Bioengineering Conference (NABEC) on July 16, 2024, in Pennsylvania, USA.
As part of the AgTech panel dedicated to digital and precision agriculture, Valerii Iakovenko, CEO and managing partner of FarmFleet and chairman of the agricultural committee of the Pennsylvania Drone Association, will share his experience in implementing innovative technologies in the agricultural sector. Experts will discuss key aspects and challenges of integrating the latest technologies, explore the obstacles farmers face, and examine the potential for replacing human labor with robotic solutions in agriculture. The discussion will feature the following participants:
● Paul Heinemann, a Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Penn State;● Kevin Dowling, Executive Director at Robotics Factory;● Yu Jiang, Assistant Professor at Cornell University;● Dr. Shirin Ghatrehsamani, a research scientist at Penn State.
"We are facing one of the most important conferences in the USA dedicated to agriculture and innovative technologies. Our participation focuses on precision farming and technologies that help improve farming efficiency through engineering solutions, digital data, and robotics. We will discuss the integration of digital technologies and robotics, transitioning from analytics to action with drones”, - noted Valerii Iakovenko.
